Welcome! After lurking for many years on various Sim Forums [either as ajcrawly or aziraphale], I've decided to start my own little journal.
I play both Sims 2 and Sims 3 and have recently been creating for both [mostly houses]. So please note the following:
For Sims 2, I have all EPs & SP's and I use Pescado's mods. Clean Installer is being stubborn and not working on my computer, so I can't guarantee that there aren't some tagalongs. [I do remove my CC folder prior to building so there shouldn't be any CC, but I believe a mod or two may attach itself?]
For Sims 3, I also have all EP's & SP's up to Supernatural [as it isn't out yet]. I don't play with CC in Sims 3 [other than default skin/eyes]. But I do use Awesomemod, Anach's mods, NRAS mods, and misc. sliders.
Comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated so don't be afraid to leave one.
Oh and in regards to my creations - they are yours to do with as you will, but please, NO PAYSITES!
House Project
Aug. 18th, 2012 03:49 amI've been playing Sims 3 lately, and the too big houses have annoyed me enough to start creating my own. But since I do still play Sims 2, I decided to create the house in both games. [This is also do to discovering a house I really like is only available for one or the other]. I raided a historical home blueprint website and found some houses I liked. When possible I use the names given by the site, so they may be rather odd.

*I just realized I've been playing Sims3 and have gotten used to the cell phone, so neither of these houses have phones installed.

Aug. 10th, 2012 04:01 amI decided to participate in the GOS Sims Challenge for July, so I thought I'd offer my sim for download here. The prompt was Sunshine and I immediately thought of a little blonde girl in a yellow dress.. [how original]. Anyway, while I was figuring out how to package her and all that, I discovered another Sim I'd created awhile ago that I quite like. Pictures are minimal due to my game crashing, but I think you can get the idea of what they look like.
First up is my Gos Challenge Sim, Jeune Bhee.

EA House of Fail Part 5
Aug. 5th, 2012 03:16 amSince Sims 3 keeps crashing on me, and I'm still downloading stuff for Sims 2, I figured I'd finish uploading my MATY house of fail challenge houses. Please forgive the crappy decorating, they are Asian inspired but limited by my lack of knowledge. Also, I didn't feel like taking new pictures, and my original picture taking abilities leave a lot to be desired.

EA House of Fail Part 4
Jul. 13th, 2012 11:12 pmAlright, only one house this time. But it happens to be one of my favorites. I drew inspiration for this house from the Shinra Mansion in FF7. I thought that given the constrains of the challenge it turned out fairly well. I know the floor plan is not completely accurate, but as the challenge was to make it liveable I had to alter some rooms. [I do intend to build the Shinra Mansion sometime, but that will most likely include CC.]

The first one was originally the Curious Brother's house, but I was inspired by the season [Halloween] and the fact that we had just bought Apartment Life - so witches! The second house was big to begin with so I just made it bigger. You have been warned...

EA House of Fail Part 2
Jul. 13th, 2012 03:49 pmMore Houses! This time 2 alternate versions based on 10 Oak Street. If you know the original version of this house it is a tiny little square, one room 'cottage'? on a fairly small lot. So it was a bit of a challenge.

EA House of Fail Part 1
Jul. 13th, 2012 03:47 pmMATY used to have this challenge where you would take a prebuilt Maxis house and rebuild it following certain guidelines. In reviewing my houses to put up here, I definitely see improvement from the first one to the last one. However I'm too lazy to organize them, so you get them in random order.
Please note, part of the challenge was to use Maxis content only. I am also not a very inspired decorator so some of them are rather sparse. Also, I have all EP's & SP's so use clean installer if you download.

I've decided that I may actually want to start creating things for the Sims. So this will be where I share the houses I build and [possibly] more? I'm also thinking of doing some of the legacy challenges and I will post pictures here. Currently I am going on a re-downloading spree as I had to re-install the Sims 2 following a mesh deleting incident. However, I do have some houses that I entered in MATY's EA house of fail challenge that I thought I would also post here.
